Milkcrate Jenga, Melbourne 2010
While photographing in Melbourne's laneways I was called at by some teenage emo kids. They were drunk and had apparently tried to make a tower out of milk crates. They had toppled over and created this wonderful mess. They were very proud of what they had made and wanted me to photograph it. I of course couldn't resist and accepted their invitation. The police came while I was photographing as someone had called them due to these kids messing about. The police couldn't quite work out how I fitted into the mix of drunk emo teens, but I got my shot and left them to it.
Thanks to those teenagers being teenagers I got one of my favourite shots.
